TV Star Sarah Parish launches free UK weekend calls for BT. On the 1st of February 2008 BT made UK weekend call charges a thing of the past by extending free weekend calls to its 10.8 million Option 1 customers . The move takes effect from today and will mean that, for the very first time, all 14.8 million BT households - the majority of British households - will no longer have to pay for weekend calls.

This PR initiative was organised by Splendid Communications and a VisualMedia photographer was there to capture the events of the day.
ICAP, the world's premier interdealer broker, held its 15th annual global Charity Day on 12th December 2007 with many celebrities in attendance. Since the inception of Charity Day in 1993, ICAP has raised over £33 million for many well-deserving causes worldwide. Last year, the company raised a record £7.1 million on the day, an increase of 37% from the previous year.
This project stretched over a couple of months and involved assignments in many locations around the world. The objective was to show Barclays in its international context both with still photography and video. B-roll was then compiled and sent to broadcasters to coincide with Barclays' record results and photographs were sent out to the newspapers. The images were also issued with a global license for all other marketing purposes.
Working with Brunswick on this assignment, we arranged for our photographer in Chengdu to attend a 2-day event for Umbro to capture the essence of Umbro in China. One day was spent photographing Umbro stores in Chegdu and the next was spent covering a 5-a-side football tournament organised and sponsored by Umbro. Photographs were then sent back to Brunswick for future use in the UK business press.
